New ahumahi-industrial sites released in Hornby


There has been a strong early interest in the new industrial development at Wilmers Road, Hornby, as the first stage comes on to the market.

While working from home, the Ngāi Tahu Property team has been able to continue to work remotely with sole agents CBRE. With site works completed prior to the current COVID-19 measures, the first nine lots in our new industrial development at Wilmers Road, Hornby are now being listed.

Ngāi Tahu Property development team manager Dean Christie says the five-hectare development features a number of lot sizes ranging from about 800 square metres to more than 4,000 square metres. The development will be released in three stages. Site clearance has been completed and titles are expected to be available in October 2020*.

He says with the high level of interest shown through the initial off-market campaign seeing several sites under contract, interested businesses should get in touch with sole agents CBRE.

South Island development general manager Scott McCulloch says all three of Ngāi Tahu Property’s Ahumahi developments offer easy access to the Southern Motorway, rail infrastructure and linkages to Lyttleton Port of Christchurch and Christchurch International Airport.

Ngāi Tahu Property’s analysis indicates strong industrial demand across a range of sectors in Rolleston and Hornby.
