As announced earlier today by Housing and Urban Development Minister Phil Twyford, KiwiBuild and Ngāi Tahu Property are working together to build more than 300 homes, of which 100 will be KiwiBuild, on the site of the former Whakatipu High School.
The KiwiBuild programme has helped Ngāi Tahu unlock this central city Crown land ensuring homes will be built for people wanting to live and work in Queenstown. The development will be completed over at least the next five years, with first homes expected on the market by the end of 2022.
