Uku, Kerewhenua Apartments ready to go

Loading...

We’ve had a busy February at Kerepeti in Hobsonville Point, with the Uku Show Apartment opening at the start of the month. All work in the building is now completed – come in and check out the different layouts and gorgeous views over Hobsonville Point and Waitematā Harbour!

Apartments in the Uku buildings are selling now and there has been plenty of interest with the Show Apartment attracting more than 80 visitors in its first weekend alone.

It is now open to view every Saturday and Sunday between 9 am and 3 pm.

We anticipate these will be ready to settle in late April or early May. That is a few weeks behind where we had anticipated in our last update due to some additional work on balustrades and handrails requested by Auckland Council.

That additional three-to-four weeks of work is complete and once that work is signed-off, council and LINZ processing will take place.

Outdoors, the landscaping and the surrounding laneway works around the Uku neighbourhood have been completed. They look stunning and offer some great spaces for the Uku community to come together, including the new table tennis table.

Construction is also complete in the Kerewhenua Apartments building, meaning people can now come in and look around these architecturally-designed homes - and take in more amazing views from upper levels!

Due to the council’s additional requirements for balustrades and handrails, we expect settlement will take place late May or early June.

Although fitting these safety features has caused some delay, good progress has been made on the surrounding landscaped areas and laneways. All the street furniture is in and planting has begun to provide the Kerewhenua neighbourhood with its own spaces for the community to use and enjoy.

To find out more about what’s available in the Uku or Kerewhenua neighbourhoods at Kerepeti call our sales manager Geoff Polglase on 0800 299 099 or come and talk to us at our show homes and apartments this weekend.
