Posted in ACC Otepoti Building,
We have seen incredible progress on the Ōtepoti project over the past few months. Structural steel and precast panels are now installed, which marks the completion of this building’s main structure.
The team is hard at work with the roof construction now underway. At the same time, the team are installing the façade.
We will soon see the stunning exterior glazing including a distinctive printed artwork designed by Ngāi Tahu artist Kirsten Parkinson. Inspired by the woven pattern of a traditional poti (flax basket), this artwork serves a dual purpose. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it has been intricately designed in conjunction with building energy modelling software to optimise daylight levels and minimise energy consumption, a commitment to sustainability.
Ngāi Tahu Property, in partnership with ACC Investments is proud to be developing this new 4-storey, 8,600 sqm office. We are excited to see Ōtepoti becoming part of Dunedin’s historical precinct located between Dowling Street and Queens Gardens.
